Location. The Akti Olous Hotel is located in Elounda, Greece, on the north coast of the island of Crete. Set 500 metres from the hotel, under the surface of the sea, are the ruins of the ancient city of Olous. The resort town of Agios Nikolaos, 12 kilometres from the hotel, on the coast of the spectacular Mirabello Bay.

Distance to Akti Olous is 70 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Taxis and private hire car are the best way to get to Akti Olous; a taxi will typically cost 70 EUR to the hotel. Price is subject to change.
Getting around. Elounda and the nearby beaches can be explored on foot. The rest of Crete is best negotiated by car. Buses are inexpensive and depart frequently for destinations throughout the island. Crete's bus company KTEL connects to the larger cities and more remote areas. Many of the villages can be accessed by boat taxis and small ferries.
