Location. The Arion Hotel is located in Athens city centre, Greece, one kilometre from the Acropolis, and five kilometres from the island-hopping excursions that leave from the Port of Piraeus.
Hotel Features. Situated in the Psyri district with its traditional Greek taverns and coffee shops, this modern, city-centre hotel opens to an air-conditioned lobby with 24-hour front desk. There is a contemporary bar and a rooftop terrace with stunning views of the Acropolis and Athens city. Wireless Internet access is available throughout and parking can be found nearby.
The Arion Hotel offers a complimentary buffet breakfast each morning, served in its light and sunny breakfast room.
Guestrooms. The 51 air-conditioned guestrooms are decorated in a contemporary style with stripped wooden flooring, sumptuous chocolate fabrics, and dark wooden furnishings. Sliding glass doors open onto balconies complete with patio furniture. All rooms have televisions, safes, and refrigerators, and marble bathrooms with hair dryers.
Please note that no metro/underground service will be available from Athens Eleftherios Venizelos Airport from 14th February 2009 for approximately six months due to the construction of a new line. Guests arriving at the airport can reach central Athens by express buses which can be found outside the arrivals terminal. A taxi terminal can also be found outside arrivals. Please note that the tariff doubles between midnight and 6 a.m. and it is advised to ask your driver for a receipt upon reaching your destination.
