Getting there. The U2 underground line connects Nuremberg Airport with the city centre. The journey takes about 12 minutes and single ticket is 1.80 EUR. Alternatively, bus services 32 and 33 run from the airport to the city every 10 minutes. Taxis are available 24 hours a day, and typically cost 16 EUR to the city centre. Nuremberg has an extensive public transport network comprised of buses, trams, U-Bahn (underground) and S-Bahn (suburban commuter) trains.
