Location. Mercure Munchen City Center is a modern hotel theatrically designed and inspired by the decor of the Deutsche Theatre, situated in Munich city centre. It is one block from the Hauptbanhof main train station and the pedestrianised Stachus area, and the famous Marienplatz Square in the old town is one kilometre away. Munich Franz Josef Strauss Airport is 35 kilometres (21.5 miles) from the hotel, an approximate driving time of 45 minutes.

Getting there. Commuter trains and buses connect the airport with Munich city centre, take either the S1 or the S8 trains to the main train station, Hauptbanhof, which is 200 metres from the hotel. Taxis are readily available outside the terminal and should cost 50-60 EUR to the hotel.
Driving directions. From the airport leave the motorway Mittlerar Ring as far as exit Stastmitte/Hauptbanhof and follow the signs for the hotel.
