From Munich Franz Josef Strauss Airport (MUC):
Distance to GHOTEL Hotel and Living Muenchen-City is 37 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The airport's train station is located between the two terminals on the basement level. From here take the S1 or S8 to Munich's main station (Hauptbahnhof). Journey time is about 45 minutes, and single tickets cost 8.80 EUR. Tickets must be validated prior to travelling. From there, take the U1 in the direction of Olympia-Einkaufszentrum and get off at Rotkreuzplatz. The Lufthansa Airport bus runs to the Hauptbahnhof every 20 minutes, and the single fare is 9.50 EUR. Taxis to the city centre cost around 55 EUR-65 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Much of Munich's city centre is pedestrianised and best explored on foot. The city's integrated public transport system includes buses, trams, S-Bahn commuter trains, and U-Bahn underground trains. Tickets cover all modes of public transport. Visitors can buy a one or three day welcome card, which allows unlimited access to all public transportation in the city centre and costs 15.50 EUR per person. Make sure and validate the card at one of the machines in the station or onboard buses and trams before travelling. Munich Altstadt (Old Town) is very easy to navigate on foot. Taxis wait at ranks around the city, but can be expensive. Trains run from the Hauptbahnhof to other German towns and the Bavarian countryside.

Take the A9 motorway from the motorway intersection at München-Nord until reaching the end.
Stay on the 'Mittlerer Ring' in the direction of Lindau/Garmisch.
Follow the signs to 'Neuhausen'", turning right onto Nymphenburger Strasse.
Turn right onto Leonrodstrasse after about 250 metres.
