Getting there. Taxis from the airport to Hamburg city centre cost approximately 20 EUR-25 EUR, and journey time is around 30 minutes. Yellow Airport Express buses run every 20 minutes from Terminals 1 and 4 to Hamburg's central station (Hauptbahnhof). Single tickets cost 5 EUR and the journey takes 30 minutes. The number 110 bus runs to Ohlsdorf station (for the U-Bahn and S-Bahn) every 10 minutes. Subway line U1 and rail lines S11 and S1 run from this station. Getting around. Hamburg's public transport system (HVV) includes underground trains (U- Bahn), rapid transit trains (S-Bahn), harbour ferries, and buses.
