Getting there. The airport is served by S- Bahn and regional train services. The station is about 400 metres away from the terminal, and a free shuttle operates every 10 minutes. If travellers don't have much luggage, walking is the quickest option. Take line S9, direction Spandau, and alight at Aldershof. Change on to line S8, direction Gruenau. On foot, leave Gruenau Station and follow the traffic direction down Adlergestell for one kilometre. Turn right into Kablower Weg for the hotel. A taxi from Gruenau Station will cost approximately 7 EUR. A taxi from the airport will cost approximately 15 EUR.
Getting around. The best way to get around Berlin is to use its public transport system (BVG). Travel on buses, trains, ferries and trams, as well as all U-Bahn (underground) and S-Bahn (over-ground) services, is covered by one ticket.
