Location. The Atholl Palace Hotel is located in parklands overlooking Pitlochry, Scotland, 500 metres from the Blair Atholl whisky distillery and one mile from the town centre. Pitlochry railway station is one mile away.
Hotel Features.The hotel was opened as a spa in Victorian times and retains the traditional feel and splendour of a Scottish baronial stately home. The lobby features red and gold carpets and a log fireplace, while modern facilities include complimentary wireless Internet access in public areas. There is also a spa offering a range of holistic treatments, and the formal gardens contain an arboretum with many rare specimen trees.
The Verandah restaurant at Atholl Palace serves modern Scottish dishes and features stunning views of the Tummel valley. Whiskies can be enjoyed in the oak- panelled Stagshead Bar, which also serves snacks. The full Scottish breakfast is complimentary.
Conference facilities include meeting rooms, a screening room, the 300-capacity Atholl Suite, and an event management team.
