The simple Imperial Hotel occupies a white rendered building at the end of a Victorian terrace just over a mile from Manchester city centre, 500 metres' walk from the University. Simple, wooden furniture and light decor with warm-coloured fabrics characterise the 27 guestrooms, all of which offer central heating, work desks, bottle water and tea and coffee making facilities, and televisions.
Decorated in warm colours, the private lounge bar serves drinks into the evening and the informal restaurant, open for dinner only, offers a selection of English and international dishes accompanied by wine.
