Hotel Features. The George Hotel was designed by famous Edinburgh architect Robert Adam more than 200 years ago. Its Georgian facade leads into a lobby featuring white columns, brown leather chairs, classical music and fresh flowers. The Tempus bar and restaurant serves modern Scottish dishes like Buccleugh beef and Loch Fyne oysters. It features pre-Raphaelite-style paintings, wooden floors and soft lighting.
