Established in 1975 by the Rogerson Family it continues to enjoy more than 30 years as a prime golfing venue. The site was originally farm buildings in the grounds of Cottesmore School, previously a private house built in 1884 by a diamond farming French man. The house can be seen from parts of the course and poses a commanding back drop to some holes.

One of the benefits of Cottesmore is we have 2 Courses. the Griffin and the Phoenix Course as well as a Health Club which has a 15 meter swimming. sauna. spa. steam room gym and 2 outdoor tennis courts Golf Course The Griffin course was originally designed as a 9-hole, but quickly took shape with another 9-holes following almost immediately. The course is noticeable for its lack of bunkers as it benefits from a combination of tricky tight fairways and small greens, requiring accurate golf to make a score here. A person who thinks their way around can really make the most of the shorter par fours and avoiding the water is always a good play
