Built in 1632 Macdonald Whately Hall is a stone-built former coaching house located at Banbury Cross. The hotel features many original 17th Century period details including oak-panelled black beam corridors, hidden staircases, and priest holes. It is even said to have a resident ghost, Father Bernard. The 69 guestrooms are traditionally decorated in keeping with the period features of this hotel.
