From Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG):
Distance to Villa Royale is 25 kilometres, approximately 25 minutes' drive.
Getting there. RER line B trains run from the airport to central Paris. Line B3 (Roissyrail) departs from Terminal 2 and runs to Denfert-Rochereau, St Michel, Chatelet les Halles and Gare du Nord. Single tickets cost 7.85 EUR and journey time is about 25 minutes. Roissybus shuttles run from all three terminals to Place de l'Opera. Buses depart every 15 minutes, and single tickets cost about 8 EUR. Air France shuttles stop at the Arc de Triomphe. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The Villa Royale hotel is on Rue Duperre. The nearest metro station is Pigalle. Paris is easy to explore on foot, and there is a reliable, cheap metro (underground), which runs throughout the city and the suburbs. Buses are a great way to see the city's sights. Tickets can be purchased from bus drivers or from the machines in metro stations. Regional RER trains run to destinations in the surrounding area. Taxis are available in the streets, but can be hard to find at busy times. Advance booking is recommended. Parking is available near the hotel (surcharge).
Driving directions. From Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport:
Exit the airport taking the A1/E19 toward Paris.
Exit at the sign 'Paris Centre, Porte de la Chapelle' and take Avenue de la Porte de la Chapelle.
Continue straight through Rue Marx Dormoy to the Place de la Chapelle, turning right onto Boulevard de la Chapelle.
Continue straight through Boulevard Rochechouart and Boulevard de Clichy, until you reach Place Pigalle.
Turn right onto Rue Duperre and the hotel is on the corner.
