Occupying a typically Parisian, 19th century building in a quiet street in the ninth arrondissement, Hotel d'Athenes is located 200 metres from Saint Lazare railway station. The 36 guestrooms are simply decorated in white and with oak wood furniture. All have cable television, direct-dial telephones, and bathrooms with hairdryers.
Guests can start the day with buffet breakfast in the dining room, located in the stone vaulted cellar, or in the comfort of their rooms, thanks to room service. With plenty of sofas, the lounge bar provides a space to relax with a coffee or glass of wine and guests can take their drinks out in the patio garden in summer. There is an Internet point in the lobby and knowledgeable staff can provide local information and tour advice. The front desk is open round the clock and has a safe for valuables. Hotel guests will find themselves within walking distance of the areas key attractions: Opera Garnier and the famous department stores on Boulevard Haussmann, including Galeries Lafayette, are within a kilometre. Charles de Gaulle airport is 25 kilometres and about a 30 minute journey away. The RER train service serves the airport. Line B runs from the TGV station at Terminal 2 to Gare du Nord. From there, take the RER E train to Gare St Lazare. The nearest metro stations Trinité and St Lazare (Line 12) are both within two blocks of the hotel.
