HI Hotel in Nice, is a deluxe hotel located just steps from the Mediterranean Sea and Promenade Anglais in the popular tourist town of Nice, France. The capital of the Riviera is the largest city between Genoa and Marseille and attracts visitors from all over the world. Nearby attractions include Musée Masséna, Musée des Beaux-Arts Jules-Chéret, the Cathedral of of St. Nicholas and the Boulevard Victor-Hugo.
Designed my Matalia Crasset, France's leading young designer, the HI Hotel is a bold departure from traditional accommodations. The hotel's name derives from the red mark, or hi, found on koi carp, and goldfish can be found in each guestroom. The fun begins as guests walk through the purple-tinted glass front door. Crasset used a palette of raspberry, pistachio, vanilla and chartreuse for the interior. A mezzanine stacked with books donated by museums, galleries and publishers overlooks the double-height bar and dining area, where five-star chef Alain Llorca's cuisine is served in petits bocaux, or small rubber-sealed jars. Visitors choose their meals from a self-service counter in the kitchen. At the far end of the restaurant is "la nacelle", a birch plywood structure that surrounds guests in a light, protective embrace, and resembles the basket of a hot-air balloon. At night, the music volume goes up. Videos and lights turn the hotel ground floor into a nightclub. There are conference facilities for 8 to 100 guests.
HI Hotel, Nice, offers 38 non-smoking guestrooms with nine unconventional design concepts. The rooms follow four color themes, and each has a large walk-in, free-form shower, in some cases behind the beds, which are low on the floor on wooden platforms.
The hotel's pool is on the roof with a splendid view of the city, the Alps and the Mediterranean Sea. A Hamman with musical relaxation and massage rooms is also available for the guests. The beach is set with chic loungers and divided into zones for families, groups of friends and those in search of peace and relaxation.
Smoking is only permitted on the patio and by the rooftop pool.

Happy Day style: Daytime has a sitting room with a lounge in harmonious white and sherbet green wood; by night two doors are opened, leading to a pink alcove and revealing the other half of the bed. The reverse side of the door is equipped with amenities such as water jugs and slippers. Strates style: Built around the concepts of storing, resting, watering, livening, relaxing and dreaming. The different functions are arranged in a vertical line ina unique layout. Digital style: The rooms feature giant pixels aon the walls, and clear furniture. Light boxes present both still and moving pictures. Non-smoking.

One king bed. Two styles available. Indoor terrace style: Furnishings arranged in the central area to form a stage or indoor terrace effect. At the far end of the terrace a plant screen divides off the shower, while the toilet is in the style of a garden shed.
