La Farandole is a contemporary ski lodge located opposite the glaciers in the Ecrins National Park, 150 metres from the Deux Alpes ski slopes. Its lobby, public areas and 60 bright, modern guestrooms were all refurbished in 2008. The guestrooms all extend to balconies, and amenities include cable television, direct-dial phones, safes, dial-up Internet connections, and trouser presses. Bathrooms are complete with shower/tub combinations, complimentary toiletries, hair dryers, and bathrobes.
Guests can brush off the snow and retreat to the spa for a sauna, steam, hot tub and massage. Located in the Southern Alps, Les Deux Alpes is renowned for an excellent snow record, high altitude and long hours of sunshine. Beginners can enjoy 22 green runs, intermediates can choose from 25 blue runs and 20 red runs, while advanced skiers explore the eight black runs. Ski lifts include drags, chairlifts, gondolas, cable cars and funiculars. Guests are just 150 metres from the ski slopes and lifts, 300 metres from the resort centre, and 20 kilometres from the town of Bourg D'oisans. Grenoble airport is located 110 kilometres away.
