With its traditional Arabian style architecture, the Sharm Inn Amarein comprises low-rise white buildings set around a lagoon pool in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt. The 90 guestrooms are spread over two floors with balconies or terraces decorated with plants and flowers. Interiors have a typical Egyptian decor with cool stone floors, thick white walls, dark wood furnishings and bright patterned fabrics. All rooms include air conditioning, safes, satellite TV and minibars. The half board option incorporates buffet breakfast and dinner each day.
Guests can dine in the Miramar buffet restaurant which has a large terrace with tables shaded by parasols. Snacks, drinks and fresh juices are available from the poolside bar, or guests can relax Egyptian style in the El-Kheima café, a traditional Bedouin tent style area, and enjoy a mint tea or try a shisha water-pipe. The hotel has a large lagoon-style outdoor swimming pool surrounded by palm trees and terraces with sun beds and parasols, as well as a separate children's pool. The health-conscious can work out in the gym, or enjoy aerobics classes, hot tub, sauna, steam room and massage treatments. Multilingual staff on the 24-hour front desk can assist guests with recommendations for places to visit as well as entertainment and transport bookings. Desert safaris and day trips can be organised to biblical sites such as Mount Sinai, where Moses is said to have received the 10 commandments. There is a diving centre located within five kilometres of the hotel and the hotel runs a shuttle bus to Sharm el Sheikh centre and to its private beach. Sharm el Sheikh International Airport is 10 kilometres (6 miles) from the hotel.
