The Grand Sharm Resort hotel is a white resort hotel set on two private beaches, located in the city of Sharm El Sheikh, on the southern tip of Sinai. The hotel's 34 air-conditioned guestrooms have light decor, stone-tiled floors and contemporary light wood furnishings. Day trips can be organized to a number of attractions; these include Mount Sinai, where the Moses is said to have procured the Ten Commandments, and the beach resort of Dhahab, further up the Sinai coast, both 150 kilometres from the hotel. Sharm El Sheikh International Airport is 10 kilometres (six miles) from the hotel, a 20-minute drive.
