Located in the Playa Dorada complex, the Fun Tropicale Beach Resort resides next to its sister property Fun Royale, where guests can enjoy all of the facilities offered at both hotels. Tropicale is adjacent to a Robert Trent Jones 18 hole championship golf course, just a short 20-minute ride from International Airport General Gregorio Luperón and 5 minutes from the town of Puerto Plata. Accommodations in the resort are in 184 standard rooms. All rooms have one queen or two twin beds and most rooms feature a sofa bed in the living room.
