Location. The Nita Lake Lodge is located in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada, along the shoreline of Nita Lake. Adjacent to Jordan Creek and the Whistler Mountaineer train station, the lodge is one-half kilometer from Whistler Creekside Village and gondola. Whistler Village Commons' shops and Skiers Plaza's gondolas are less than six kilometers away.
Features. Exposed wood posts and beams accentuate the lobby of the Nita Lake Lodge, a four-story condominium resort. Its floor-to-ceiling windows affords natural light. Seating areas dot the lobby, including one conversation area in front of the rock fireplace. A restaurant, delicatessen and lounge are next to the lobby. Jordan's Crossing Dining Room blends Old World cuisine with modern day trends; JC's Deli offers specialized coffees, baked goods and sandwiches. Late-night entrees and beverages are available at Jordan's Lounge, which features a fireplace and sitting area furnished with wingback chairs. Outside the lodge, a heated plunge pool is available during summer months. Other amenities include local transportation and complimentary wireless Internet access in the lounge area.
Guestrooms. The Nita Lake Lodge contains 77 condominiums with mountain, village and lake views. All accommodations offer 40-inch, flat-screen televisions mounted above gas fireplaces. Bathrooms are equipped with bathrobes, soaker tubs and walk-in rain showers lined with slate stone. Other amenities include CD players and complimentary high-speed Internet access.
Expert Tip.The 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games will be hosted in Vancouver and Whistler, where sledding and skiing events will be held.
