Occupying 171 acres on an island connected to downtown Nassau by bridge, the Atlantis resort complex opened as a casino destination in the 1960s. Hotel Features. The Atlantis Coral Towers offers dining all restaurants within the Atlantis resort complex, but specifically within the Coral Towers at Casa d'Angelo and the Bahamian Club. Recreational amenities include more than 20 outdoor swimming areas, watersport rentals, a sports center, Dolphin Cay Atlantis dolphin habitat, and Aquaventure waterscape. The resort's Mandera Spa offers treatments that include ancient Balinese healing practices, traditional European therapies, and natural protocols native to the Bahamas. Dolphin, sea lion, and manta interactions must be scheduled through the Atlantis Adventure Center or Dolphin Cay Atlantis upon arrival at the resort (they cannot be scheduled in advance of arrival).
