Distance to Hotel Regina is 30 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Take either the CAT train or train number S7 until the stop Landstrasse/Wien Mitte/City Air Terminal. Single tickets cost 9 EUR for the CAT train and 6 EUR for the S7 train. At the City Air Terminal, transfer to the underground line U4 heading in the direction of Heiligenstadt. Get off at Schottensring stop and take the subway U2 in the direction Karlsplatz. Get off at the next stop, which is Schottenftor. Alternatively, take the airport bus to Schwedenplataz, then take the tram number 2 to Schoffentor. Take the exit Wahringerstrasse and Hotel Regina will be directly in front. Taxis to Hotel Regina cost approximately 45 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Vienna city centre is best explored on foot. The city is served by a cheap and efficient public transport system, including buses, trams, and S-Bahn and U-Bahn trains. Taxis can be hailed on the street, but are quite expensive.
Driving directions. From Vienna Airport.
Take the Ostautobahn A4 and follow in the direction of Zentrum.
Leave Knoten Prater and take the Schuftelstrasse.
This street meets the Untere Donaustrasse and then the Obere Donaustrasse.
Follow signs for Zentrum, Prater (city centre.) At the junction Obere Donaustrase - Rembrandstrasse, turn left and cross the bridge.
Follow this street (Horlgasse) until the junction with Wahringerstrasse.
Go straight ahead and pass the Votiv Church.
Turn right into the Universitatsstrasse. br> Take the next possible right and follow the street around Rooseveltplatz.
