Location. The Park Hyatt Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is a luxury resort located on the eastern side of Dubai Creek next to the prestigious Golf and Yacht Club. The city centre with its Gold and Spice Souks are kilometres away. Dubai Airport is four kilometres distance.
Hotel Features. The modern Park Hyatt blends Middle Eastern and Mediterranean styles in its architecture. Around a palm-decked pool terrace are cool, dramatic spaces decorated in Arabian style with water features and Moorish arches. Multilingual staff can provide help at the 24-hour reception, there is a concierge, and maid and bellhop services.
The Park Hyatt offers a choice of restaurants. Traiteur serves modern, French-influenced cooking with North African touches in a split-level setting with 'stage-set' kitchens. Up the showpiece metal staircase is a wine bar with a terrace. Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast (surcharge) at Café Arabesque with marina views. It offers a Levantine mezze later in the day, including kebabs traditionally grilled on wood-fired ovens. Getting there. Pre-paid taxis can be found at Terminal 1's Arrivals hall, and the fare to the city centre is approximately 40-45 AED. Limousines can be hired in the Arrivals hall. Buses run to the city centre every 10 minutes from 6 a.m.-10 p.m. Bus stations are located opposite Terminals 1 and 2. Buses 44, 33, 15, 11, and 4 run to the city centre from Terminal 1, passing near to most major hotels. Bus number 2 runs to the city centre from Terminal 2, also passing near to most major hotels. Buses depart approximately every 20- 30 minutes, and a single ticket costs 2 AED. Prices are all subject to change. The Park Hyatt provides airport transfers (surcharge). Getting around. Public buses offer a reasonable service between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. Buses travel from Bur Dubai station, on Al-Ghubaiba road, and Deira bus station, near the gold souk. Buses have separate seated sections for women and men, with women typically sitting near the front. Travellers should pay the correct fare to the driver. In older parts of Dubai, small wooden motorboats cross over Dubai Creek between early morning and midnight. Air-conditioned taxis are efficient, cheap and safe, and can be pre-booked by telephone or hailed in the street.
Driving directions. From Dubai Airport head towards the city centre.
When you reach the DNATA intersection turn left at the signal.
Keep going straight on through traffic lights, then turn left at signs for the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club.
The Park Hyatt is on the eastern (airport) side of Dubai Creek, on the same site as the Golf and Yacht Club.
